• The Grandmaster
  The Grandmaster is a man-of-arms. He has a very studied armory, and so he was a good ally to have had in the last war. Now in peacetime he is a bit restless, often oversteering or overshooting. I wish him a worthy adversary one of these days.
  
  
• Sarah, Queen of pre-Delos (exiled)
  She and I have odd oddnesses in common. She is descended from the family that ruled a string of floating islands before the Twins came along and messed everything up. So, like me, she has unacknowledged ties to distantly noble heritage. Like me, she doesn't know how to live unacknowledged. One day I'll tell you the story of how she came to be cursed by the young Electron-Deified Razorblade goddess, compelled to pursue all manner of thankless detail work without enjoying it or wanting to do anything else.
  
  
• Jason Aluminium
  An explorer of some renown at the Goop Factory. These days, he's basically a politician, mediating between the gadgets on one hand and the divinities and humans on the other. As a divinity familiar in the ways of gadgets, I assist him occasionally. He's also a great storyteller.
